Final update on Longhorn success in London

The University of Texas, the country, took home a fairly outstanding 13 total medals from the 30th Olympics - good for 18th place among the 204 countries who participated.

Let's go ahead and start with this, because this is really cool.

University of Texas Medal Count

This is all kind of a silly distinction, but it's nevertheless outstandingly impressive for UT. Men's sports - specifically and primarily football - receive the lion's share of attention from the general public, but every four years we're thankfully reminded how amazing the entire UT athletic department is at recruiting, training, and coaching world class athletes.
