Most parents are highly concerned about what their child watches. They look at reviews, ratings, and sites to analyze whether a film is "ok" for their child. So when some parents in the UK took their children to witness the cuddly fun of Madagascar 3 they instead accidentally subjected their children to the deranged fright fest that is Paranormal Activity 4 due to a projection mix-up.

Natasha Lewis of Bulwell in Nottingham, who took her 8-year-old son Dylan to see talking animated animals, said the unexpected horror movie scene was "enough to make grown men jump, so you can imagine the terror in these young faces."

 

 

She continued: "Everybody just scrambled for the exits, all you could hear were children crying and screaming. Everyone was very upset. I've watched a few horror films in my time but the 'Paranormal Activity' films are the scariest since 'The Exorcist'. It was only about two minutes worth of the film but it was enough to scar them for life. There were parents and kids in there, including some children who were younger than Dylan."

The fact that it was Paranormal Activity 4 and not some other horror film is partially why it is so funny. Most horror films have some sort of gradual lead up, but not Paranormal Activity 4.The movie opens up with a scene that involves a "corpse flying at the screen". So, yeah, these kids wet their Baby Gap cargo shorts. Although a scarring event, nothing compares to the mix-up a couple years back involving the kid's film The Last Mimzy and The Hills Have Eyes 2.

Looks like April Fool's Day came a bit late for some folks from Holtsville, Long Island. When a bunch of parents brought their kids to a screening of The Last Mimzy at the Island 16 multi-plex, the last thing they expected to see on screen was a chained naked woman giving birth to a mutant baby.

So, in other words, those UK parents need to quit complaining and praise that all their small children saw was a possessed corpse. Yeah, that sentence just happened
