The second trailer for Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) has surfaced, fresh from re-shoots. The re-shoots came in wake of The Dark Knight Rises shooting, as a scene in which gangsters come out from behind a film screen and unload their clips on audience members was stripped for obvious reasons. The film still looks incredible, boasting beautiful gangster-era landscapes and commanding performances from Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, and a noticeably livid Sean Penn. With sleak action and a star-studded cast, I for one can not wait for it's January release. A shot of Ryan Gosling chasing down a car, shooting rapidly at it, with Jay-Z blaring in the background? That's a level of badass to shake off The Notebook.
