Kimberly Peirce will attempt to match Brian De Palma's 1976 directorial effort in Carrie, a remake of the Stephen King-inspired horror classic that starred Sissy Spacek. Chloe Moretz, fifteen-year-old horror veteran (The Amityville Horror, Let Me In) and award-winning actress, will take on the eponymous role in the remake, to be released in March of next year.
